"Bar and restaurant is nice and modern, looks like it's recently been refurbished. Food is great! Rooms look like they've been decorated somewhat recently but not completely refurbished. For the price, I would stay again"

" The Longboat Inn is very close to Penzance Station and not too far from the harbour, so very well situated. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the shower worked well. My room overlooked the main road, and was subject to some traffic noise (mainly from one idiot with an excessively loud motorbike who seemed to be riding up and down the road), but I had a very good night's sleep. "Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help."

"We checked in but didn’t stay here. We gave the key back as soon was we reached our room, this is a sports bar which is fine if you are told this when booking. The rooms are filthy with stained bedding. We Asked for a refund as we needed to stay elsewhere but have not had any feedback from them or expedia. Not a happy customer as we use Expedia regularly. They need to look at who they endorse and refund when appropriate."

"Lovely pub with nice spacious and clean rooms. Good offering of food and drink, fresh breakfast cooked to order and lot of optional add ons like yoghurts, cereal, selection of juices. Overall great experience for a competitively priced room. Car park had plenty of spaces too"
