Maria showed us around the complex including access to a footbath and a beautiful, onsen that is available for anyone staying at Kaede to use - you just turn on a light indicating it is in use and others wont bother you. "Great services from the host. Had a grate time in this Ryokan. Our family enjoyed the two main baths and super breakfast and dinner, the food was nearly the national top level. However a few things were not met the standard level. There was no hot water supplied in the ensuite bath room. The ryokan stairs were too steep for children and old people. And one thing you must NOT to do is eating in the local village restraurant. We tried to book our dinner a day before we arrived but it was too late....
