"I was a little disappointed in our stay. The hotel and room was very tired and in need of an update. In the morning the windows were running with condensation. The windows let an awful lot of noice through and I was awake for the 3 nights listening to the roar of traffic. The restaurants attached to the hotel were very expensive and not of the best quality. I’d recommend finding somewhere else to eat. On the day of leaving we were in a rush and needed a taxi. They said to just wait out in the forecourt ans taxis arrived every few minutes and they wouldn’t specifically call a cab. After a 15 min wait we left, turned onto the road and flagged one down immediately. Very underwhelming experience. It was ok at best."

"Another wonderful stay at the Clermont, Charing Cross. We had a spacious double room, checked in with the lovely staff who are always welcoming, attentive and so friendly. Left our bags as we were super early. Had a call when our room was ready and was welcomed with a personal note to say welcome back again and a huge slice of chocolate fudge cake! The room and en-suite were spotless. Bed was so clean and comfortable we slept soundly. Had bottled water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate with selection of biscuits, popcorn crisps and a jar packed with sweet treats available to us. The staff were all so lovely throughout our stay and never hesitate to help with anything. Perfect location 5 tube stops from Euston and a 1 minute walk to the hotel. Situated within walking distance from Westminster, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and the theatre district. I would not hesitate to recommend. "
