"I was very pleased with my stay at The Gantry! It was like a bonus birthday present! I was there as part of my birthday celebration and delighted to be offered a complimentary upgrade on arrival! The views of the surrounding area were wonderful and the room was spacious and comfortable, though the mattress was not as firm as I prefer. The hotel is close to Stratford International station with a multi/ storey car park around the corner! I had a wonderful breakfast in the delightful 1st floor restaurant and as my birthday celebrations continue in another area, I reluctantly had to leave! I would stay here again as an excellent base to explore Central London and I would recommend it to tourists or family members visiting London!"

"Fantastic stay (again) at Vertus Edit. Clean, modern, well equipped studio, convenient for travel connections (Jubilee line, Elizabeth line and DLR are all within 5-10 minutes walk) plus the offices, shops, bars and restaurants of Canary Wharf."

"On arrival the lady on the desk asked that both myself and my wife produce ID. My wife didnt have ID on her but the lady on the reception at first was not very helpful, she told me that no ID is a problem. It had to be a Gov issue ID. After 5 minutes of my wife scrolling through her photos on her phone looking for something, i went to the desk to complain and then the hostess told me to search in photos for passport which sorted the issue. She should have just said straight away rather then make us stress about it in the 1st instance. Only other issue was the coutch in the room. The legs were bent and ready to snap so we decided not to sit on it incase it broke and we got the blame thus loosing the deposit. We did report this to the reception on the way out for the night but it wasnt resolved when we got back. Breakfast in the morning was self service buffet and was great. My wife is quite fussy and was not that pleased but i think she just preferes her own cooking. I had x2 croissants with nutella & Jam. A taste Continental sausage and fried eggs. Lovely. "

"We booked the place for a weekend away, and it was more than what we expected. The place was very clean, kitchen had everything that we needed. The view in the balcony was amazing. And the staff were very welcoming."

"No kettle in room or cups. Reception/Bar refuses to give you cups for your room. No hair dryer. No iron. No fridge. No safe. Room is completely barron of any facilities. Its a beautiful room on the river, but that is literally all you get. Dont expect anything else other than this. Breakfast was absolutely shocking. They served very old, stale hash browns and own-brand supermarket equivalent sausages. Thats it. No bacon, no eggs, no anything. You get hash brown and sausage. If you go to the continental you see a tray of soggy wet cheese and ham. I couldnt believe it. I asked staff if more was coming, he said no. This is all there is. And it was the middle of breakfast time, not near the end. Truly, come here for the hotel river view, its good. But dont buy breakfast, and dont expect anything other than to sleep here and leave. "

"Well it was great value and not far from Canary Wharf. Staff very nice. But bed wasn’t a double and not very comfy and tv didn’t work but it was late so I didn’t to be fair go and ask to get fixed. Just a bit annoying. Gym looked good but didn’t look at pool. It was super cheap for an easy night and Elizabeth line just a short walk straight into town. "

"- long queue over 30 mins to check in - given a different room to one I booked and front office staff refused to change on grounds they are overbooked! - In-room Dining simply refuse to pick up call - poor facilities in the room. So called Superior room does not even have disposable slippers"
