Lovely hotel in the middle of the city. Comfy bed and VERY quiet! The restaurant on-site is fairly reasonably priced, and the fish & chips were very good. There is a river adjacent outdoor bar that looked nice too. I never made it down to breakfast because I wanted to get out-and-about as soon as woke up, so no clue how that was.

Location, location, location. Easy walk to all transportation hubs including the hop on, hop off bus. Staff was excellent and views from our room were amazing. Highly recommended for a stay in London. My only complaint was the construction noise on the morning we decided to sleep in. However, the hotel compensated our late check out fee.

The hotel was excellent they are currently doing construction to help improve the property so that is just a temporary negative, however overall the hotel is lovely. Fantastic location very convenient to train, bus, and of course the Tower of London and Tower Bridge!

The hotel’s location is outstanding - right across from Tower Bridge, which is truly incredible. However, the property itself could benefit from a complete renovation. The exterior feels somewhat worn, and both the lobby and guest rooms would improve with updates as well. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that. On a positive note, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout the stay.

The standard room we had was very clean, but the whole room was very, very tired and needs all the fitted furniture replaced. The mini fridge wasn’t working. The staff were very helpful and polite. But for what the room cost us it was ok for one night.

Read the reviews (I did). The furniture has a lot of wear and tear. My TV had a broken screen. Rooms could be cleaner, especially in the bathroom (probably just needs to be updated). But, it is a wonderful location; you cannot beat the location. Staff are nice. Hotel is affiliated with the coffee shop around the corner so you can use any vouchers there. They need to do a bit more work on not letting the place seem to have a lot of turnover and wear and tear. That all said, I would stay again.

Great hotel, beds were comfortable but we called housekeeping multiple times and there was no answer until we called the front desk because our room only came with half a used toilet paper. We had to wait for hours. Then we tried calling room service and there was no answer either. Overall the rooms were great but the service could’ve been better. Location is a 10/10 though so that makes up for a lot in the end.

The location is great, especially if you have a tower bridge side because it offers incredible views. It’s within walking distance of lots of great things as well as access to good bus and subway routes it was quiet and safe. Bed was comfortable and water. pressure was good. It could be a five star so easily. However, room service is inexplicably weird? Rather than remove dirty dishes, such as coffee cups they would place my own books on top of them. They would not restock the towels, unless we called the front desk and asked for more. they would not restock the in-room coffee machine pods. We asked for washcloths every day and only got them one time every other time they told us they did not have them at the moment. they put toothpaste I purchased into a clean glass for some reason. the TV in the room cuts off every 5 to 10 minutes on its own and the front desk said they would check it out but did not. The breakfast buffet is good. I would definitely stay here again, but a little more care around the edges, better amenities and a little upgrading on outdated interiors is needed.

I would not recommend this hotel. The view is amazing if you get a bridge view room HOWEVER for the price this hotel is kind of run down. We checked in at 430 and was told our room wasn’t ready. The staff member checking us in was super sweet and understanding however when we got to our room 45 mins later it seemed it had been cleaned in haste. The floor was FILTHY I’m talking chunks of stuff on the floor , splattered make up on the wall and there was pooling water on the surfaces, mold on the pillows, not enough towels and no shampoo. There also was noisy construction in the lobby and around the hotel that I think will be around for a while. Previous hotels I’ve stayed at warn you about that. Overall it was lacklustre for the price and I was extremely disappointed. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

There are clearly different "tiers" for the rooms in this hotel. I felt that we were in a suite that probably shouldn't have been in rotation. Off in the back corner, lots of wear to the paint, faucets, dresser drawers, etc. It was clean, just aged and in need of some TLC. They had also clearly had a water leak in this wing as there were visible water marks on the hallway carpets and the overwhelming smell of air freshener attempting to mask the mildew smell. On the surface the room was nice. We did not have a view of the Tower Bridge at all, but as we really weren't in our room that much, we didn't consider it a huge priority. We likely could've moved rooms if we had asked, but the schedule of the move would've cut into our plans for the day too much so we didn't bother. There were marble floors in the bathroom, and a separate tub and shower. We only used the shower in the tub, but the faucet handle was completely missing so adjusting the temperature proved difficult to say the least. Complimentary mini bar was a bit of a nice surprise, but the selection was very limited. Coffee and tea were available too, and replenished daily. The mattress was quite hard, which worked for me, but my wife would've preferred something softer. Overall, the stay was just "fine", but given the status of the hotel, I expected more from oue stay. Pickier travellers would've complained about the room and moved I'm sure, but as mentioned, we were barely there so not a big deal for us.
