"Lovely Hosts,Nice and quiet and peaceful.The stables studio had everything you could want and at a very reasonable price .We enjoyed the local walks from the doorstep,the village although down a steep hill had all the amenities you could require.Three pubs,a co op ,fish and chip shop ,cafes ,post office etc.Hexham is only a few miles away ,shops, supermarkets. Pubs , restaurants etc.Lovely countryside and villages in the area and not forgetting Hadrian's Wall.If you require a peaceful break ,then I can recommend The Stables Studio .The owners have a couple of ponies stabled next door but we didn't experience any noise etc and they were lovely .B&R"
