"Nice room with good Ringtons tea drinks and biscuits. TV very small. Lovely meal and beers in the bar. Big portions.. Nice shop. Lovely surroundings and access to Hadriens wall. Breakfast had a good selection. Friendly staff. "

"From our friendly welcome, where we we recognised from our previous visit a few years ago, to our farewell when we were virtually waved off, it was a great stay. The room was clean, well decorated and so warm, to see the frost and ice on our car when we opened the curtains, was quite a shock. The bed was soft and comfortable and we both slept very well. Breakfast, mine the full English, my wife, porridge, was excellent. In every respect we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily go again when we visit the Hexham area. "

"We had a brilliant getaway at the bunker. Lovely romantic place for an anniversary trip. Amazing location and so convenient for local walks at Hadrian's wall. With it being in a dark skies zone we were able to do a bit of stargazing and were lucky enough to see a meteor shower. The accommodation was perfectly clean and has almost everything you could need. (I could have done with a hairdryer, it's possible I just couldn't find it!) The kitchen was well equipped and the TVs were Internet enabled and you could just login to your streaming services. Overall a wonderful place to stay."

"An absolutely beautiful cottage set in a lovely rural setting. It's very close to Hadrian's wall, the Sycamore Gap, Vindolanda and other local areas of interest. We had a peaceful few days here with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend the cottage as a place to stay and get away from it all."
