"We stayed at the same apartment in 2015. The location on the Ribeira is ideal for people who like to walk: a short stroll to the river and the port houses of Gaia, and also to the restaurants up the hill in Porto.Our companions did not like the hard bed in the main floor bedroom, and they complained also about noise at all hours from the street traffic.It was a great place to relax in the evenings, after many thousands of steps during the day."

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of towels, and the cozy robes were nice to have. Barbara arranged transfers from the airport and met me at the door when I arrived. There was a large bowl of fresh fruit and welcome pastries.
