"Adorable historic boutique hotel! Recently renovated with a fantastic location on the Duro river and a nice breakfast. Be aware… the property is NOT staffed after 10 pm. So check in earlier than that. We checked in late in the day and needed to wait outside for the staff member to come to the property. We were a little thrown off by that. Think of it like a cross between a boutique hotel and an AirBnB! Once she got there we settled in and had a great experience. Staff during working hours is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. "

"The guest house is very centrally located in the Ribeira area and the room was spacious, lean and the bed was comfortable. The price was a steal. The staff were very nice to deal with and breakfast was delicious. Excellent coffee. My room was on the third floor and there was no lift so got a bit of exercise in as well. I knew this was the case when I booked so was prepared for it. Because it is central and on a busy street, it is noisy but I felt the location more than made up for that. "
