"I didn’t have high expectations because I just needed a last minute hotel and this one was a great rate and available. Reviews were a little mixed but as someone who travels a lot, I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location is just perfect, the staff were incredibly kind to me and others throughout my whole stay. I was given a wonderful room honoring the request I made for a room on the first floor. The room was huge, like a full apartment. I will definitely return, I couldn’t have asked for more. Clean, quiet, blackout drapes, a wonderful experience. "

"Location is great, couple blocks back from the beach and some excellent restaurants on State street. It’s smaller which is nice with all open halls to capitalize on the great weather. Really great layout with the second floor courtyard offering shaded seating. Great trip with a great base camp at La Playa. "
