"A lovely hotel in a superb location overlooking the sea. The staff went over and above on service, especially at Reception when we had a query and also at breakfast. The breakfast was really nice, with a good selection of cooked options and plenty of juice and other options. We made good use of the indoor and outdoor pool and were really lucky with the weather. We look forward to visiting the Brunswick again!"

The hotel feels like a hidden gem, with its cozy, elegant décor, velvet sofas, and soft music creating a peaceful atmosphere. The garden is beautifully kept, featuring loungers and a partial sea view, while the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were perfect for relaxing. One small downside: a few guests took towels and blankets, which was disheartening, especially for a family-run place that puts so much care into every detail. Breakfast was a highlight. As someone who’s gluten- and lactose-free, I was impressed by how easily and kindly the staff accommodated me—and the food was delicious. My room was spotless, the shower worked perfectly, and I appreciated the personal touch of the animal-loving owners. I’d absolutely return. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a welcoming retreat with heart"

"We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to the room my husband has COPD so we couldnt go back out for food as he knew he couldnt manage those stairs again - we were offered a different room lower down the building if we wanted to pay the extra bedside lamp was falling off the wall it smelled really musty the bed linen was white so could see it was clean but overall I wish I had booked somewhere else - overall the building needs updating ripped carpets need replacing etc "
