"Perhaps it's because this hotel itself is brand-spanking-new, or Drury's management just keeps its properties looking and running their best, but my stay at the chain's new North Charleston location couldn't have been better. I got the room location I requested, even though the hotel was teeming with family crowds in town for multiple high school graduation ceremonies the next day. Everyone seemed to be well served by the friendly, attentive staff. This is not my first experience at a Drury hotel, but there hasn't been a bad one yet. On even one of the busiest possible days, this hotel appears to be off to a great start."

"The stay was fine enough. The room was in horrible shape and smelled bad but there weren't any bugs. The pool was open but unusable as it was full of trash luke leaves, regular trash, used band aids and cigarette butts. The television didn't work. The air conditioner worked, the toilet flushed and the shower worked. "
