"The floor in the bathroom was sticky and felt nasty under foot. I put towels down to walk on. The dining hall tables were littered with crumbs and remnants of previous guests breakfast choices. The kicker for me was the large roach that we found one evening when we had to click the lights on. Hampton always does a great job....this trip was disappointing. "

"This hotel is fine. Not outstanding. The breakfast is ok, no hot tub, carpets seemed like they needed a cleaning. It was clean. The area is ok. "

"Just needed a place to lay our head. Everywhere in town was triple the price. When I read the reviews and reviewed the price I was a little skeptical however Rahul at the front desk was very pleasant and showed us a true southern welcome. It was not the best spot in town of course but his welcome made it the most pleasured. It was tucked away (the property) but close to everything. The room was not the “most” sanitized but it def gave a safe place to lay our head. "

"10 out of 10 experience. would come to charleston again just to stay here. massive shout out to chauffeur Tony who is easily the best hotel chauffeur i have ever experienced. Took us anywhere we needed to go! we also had a last minute occurrence where we were booked with a different hotel and changed to here at the last second and were able to do early check in without a fee. My only grievance is my trip was so short i couldn’t spend more time here!!!"
