We felt safe in this location and inside of the hotel as they had a very complex key access system to get onto any floor via the elevator. "

"Perfect place if you just want somewhere to drop your stuff, sleep/relax, and shower! Pretty quiet-- they provided earplugs and a sound machine but I didn't have to use either. Note that you'll want to bring shower shoes (showers were clean but communal so that's best practice). It was a little pricey, but for a solo traveler it's the best price you might expect in Manhattan."
