"Our host, Vivienne, was phenomenal! The Sherwood house is a beautiful property and obviously well cared for. The bed was comfortable and we had a large bathroom in our room. There is a bus stop just a few feet from the property. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Such a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh. We were two weary international travellers who were warmly greeted and allowed to leave our luggage while we went for breakfast and awaited our room being ready. We were very grateful to be allowed to check in earlier than planned. Breakfast was very good. Really wonderful hospitality and accommodation, highly recommend. "

"Dropping off our son at university this was a good place to stay just around the corner from the halls. It’s a good neighbourhood, reasonably quiet. Dorstan House is a huge, grand old Victorian house, tastefully decorated. Self check in was easy with all the codes being emailed two days before arrival.
