"The hotel was supposed to be in a central location but it was 12 minutes walk to the shops and then a further 12 minutes walk to the bars, so it was too much effort to go out for a beer and something to eat on Saturday night. In cold weather conditions, you really needed to take a taxi everywhere. It was deadly quiet too with no atmosphere. In fact, it was more akin to a gentleman's club, rather than a hotel. "The staff are very attentive. The suites are ample and comfortable. Conveniently located to transportation."

"This is very nice hotel, conveniently located a couple of blocks from George St and the so-called New Town. Rooms are in top condition, clean, my room had a jacuzzi. Very nice taste in decoration. Only two observations: the volume of water in the shower was really low and variable, as well as the temp (in a moment you passed from a trickle of cool water to a normal flow of very hot water. Also, the bed could have been softer. "

"We got to the hotel early and they allowed us to check in early which was great after an over night flight. We had a room in the 3rd floor, it was spacious and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. The restaurant on the first floor was closed for dinner that night but we were able to enjoy a great breakfast the next morning. Will be booking with them next time I visit Edinburgh."
