My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely view of the gardens. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel genuinely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Location-wise, it’s ideal — close enough to Darlington town centre yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. "1-night stay for a business trip. This hotel is in a convenient location right on the Scotch Corner junction. Room was clean and as expected, easy parking. The restaurant was OK for both breakfast and dinner, not fine dining but decent enough. I recommend this one over the next Holiday Inn further north."
