The rooms are spotless, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. "Food was amazing"

"I've stayed here, overnight, on two occasions in the last month. During both stays I have come down for a continental breakfast either at 7.45am or 8.30am only to find the through door into the breakfast area was locked and no one around to give access. "Helpful staff , excellent room"

"Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 "

"The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. Our only small gripe was that the hosts were not available in the evening to help us with laundry, but I would still recommend staying here!"

"Exceptionally pleasant and wonderful staff, Lovely big, very clean room. Food in the restaurant was very good. Would happily stay here again."

"The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...
