The Z Hotel Holborn
Tv was pixelated. Room a bit dirty. But the worst part was thumping bass heard in my pillow from 4-11pm on a Sunday night. Staff said oh yeah it's usually over by 10:30-11. Miserable night.

Strand Palace Hotel
While our room was small, it was very comfortable, and the location can't be beat - right in the center of London. Great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff - we were able to get a later checkout and the staff helped with luggage and getting a cab to the airport.
