"I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Spacious clean room and ensuite. Nice hotel with friendly staff. The hotel was very covid conscious and clean. It is well located and the Hakuba valley shuttle bus stops at the hotel. While the buffet breakfast was nice, the on-site French restaurant - Chamonix was disappointing. The staff made us pre-order food when we booked the table and we couldn’t adapt meals to cater for gluten free. The food was OK but the overall dining experience was underwhelming."

"Spent a winter wonderland of a week at Mont Cervin and can't recommend it highly enough. 15min walk from town but you never have to do the uphill yourself because the wonderful owners will shuttle you to and from the ski fields. At night they'll shuttle you up to the main strip for dinner and it's an easy walk back! I recommend adding on the brekky option, saves a lot of hassle and is delicious every morning. Conveniently located 5 mins from echigoyuzawa station. Aside from hourly shuttle provided by hotel, the ski rental shops do provide complementary pickup and drop off; in addition to the inter-resort buses which operate from the station. "
