"We loved everything about our stay in Sierra. The location is in the middle of stunning forest, very close to ski slopes, lovely food options are available through the day. Nothing can be better than enjoying private onsen after a day of skiing. Lovelies stuff. We will definitely be back! "

"Enjoyed overall stay. The room is great. Hot springs are awesome. Vegan options for the food could be better. Make sure to check that kids are included when receiving confirmation. We didn’t and have to pay 1/4 more and it was already expensive. I checked the price online for four of us and it was exactly as we paid while booking but the confirmation letter didn’t include kids so we have to pay anyways. Otherwise happy with stay."

"The hotel’s remote location and beautiful views were wonderful! The hotel’s shuttle from and to Echigo-Yuzawa Station was very much appreciated. From Check-in to check-out the staff service was excellent. The Japanese/Western room was spacious. We had a corner unit with a view of the snow and trees. The booking came with buffet breakfast and dinner we were so happy and satisfied-the food layout was appetizing and very delicious. "He gave us drive to the snow monkey park which saved so much time and energy! Appreciate a lot! There is one private onsen which was the right size for two people. And could stay there as much as we wanted without reservation. There are two more public onsen too but we did not use this time. Staffs were all so kind and nice, will definitely want to stay here if I want ryokan again in nagano!"

"The owner is the most attentive and accommodating man! Made sure we hade all we need, know where to go, even inquired as to where we were going…to make sure our experience was great. Hotel is older but in great shape. The free/24-7 in house onsen was hot as heck! Varied day by day of course depending on what is being cooked up underground! Very clean. "
