"This place is such a Vibe!!! Great and friendly staff. The shuttle from the bus stations is a fantastic perk. We had a traditional Japanese room and my kids loved it ! The restaurant is fantastic! We ate there 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed there. We regret regretted not eating there the third. Fantastic buffet breakfast before hitting the slopes. We even made custom screen print sweaters with artist Akari with Spin designs. I can’t say enough about this little Gem ! We will be back. "

"About a 5 minute walk from the main gondola at Tsugaike Kogen, and a 15 minute taxi ride from JR Hakuba station. Overall I would say the location is very good if you are looking for proximity to a ski resort without the late night hustle and bustle of Echoland/Happo One. Tsugaike Kogen is a very beginner friendly resort. Also closeby to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle (7 min walk). Restaurant selection in the area is decent! The public baths in this hotel are relatively quiet during off peak hours...

"Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. "Quite possibly one of the hidden gems of Hakuba Goryu. If you want the true Hakuba local experience and taken back in time, this is your spot.
