"This was a fabulous ryokan to stay at! The onsen was clean and very relaxing and had all the desired facilities I had a private onsen bath in my room which was really easy to use and perfect. The rooms are clean and well taken care of and have all the required amenities. "First time staying with as a family of 3 with a young toddler. Half board included breakfast and dinner which was different for the 2 nights we stayed. Great rooms, clean and spacious. Hotel exterior was also very peaceful and nice. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Superb service. Will be back again!"

"Great ryokan experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The food was phenomenal. We stayed for two nights and they had a different menu each day. The service was exemplary. We brought our 4 month old baby boy and they went out of the way to accommodate us. They put us in a slightly more secluded room and dining section so we didn’t need to feel bad when he cried. They set up a little bed for him at dinner time. "

"Excellent stay at this ryokan! The staff speak excellent English and are extremely service minded. They made our family feel welcome. The hotel is located on a steep hilltop but shuttle service to train station is provided frequently and can be scheduled in advance. Also, due to the location, the view over lake Kawaguchiko is simply amazing! Absolutely recommended! "

"The staff, grounds, and food were all superb. We booked the Open Air Big Stone Bath room type so we had a private hot springs bath in our onsen. It was amazing to get in whenever we wanted, but it may be unnecessary depending on your budget since their public (hotel guests only) open air baths are so spectacular. "Gorgeous traditional Ryoken. Problem at check-in almost ruined it but we worked it out. You check in and receive a cotton kimono, toe socks and slippers. "The service was excellent, the room was spotless, the beds were comfortable and both breakfasts were delicious. At one point, we called for a taxi but it was running late. Someone from the front desk came down to the road to help us hail a different taxi to help us catch our train. I highly recommend and plan on staying here my next time in Kyoto. "

"This was amazing onsen beside the Yubatake (which is right in front on the hotel) so you are in the middle of the town they have Yukata you can borrow and take wear to walk and take pictures outside too. Breakfast and dinner had a lot of options and was really good. Make sure to Book Hal-Board, it is worth it! They have onsen eggs for breakfast too!
