They picked us up from the train station and upon arrival at the hotel, a staff member discussed the amenities, use of the onsen and will answer any questions. The ryokan has a small outdoor onsen. "Extremely beautiful and wonderful spot to go to. Not a lot of food immediately around, but take a bus over to the station and you'll find a lot. Sadly not 5-stars because expedia markets this hotel for 2-6 people per room, but when you book a room, it only does so for 2, and on arrival you have to pay to have the other 4 stay as well. "

"5 minutes walk from Souzan station, place was quiet with 2 onsens. Onsen are rotated every 12 hours. Kaiseki styled Dinner and breakfast were provided as there is very limited food option in Hakone area and most public transport end at 5pm"
