" I loved the staff. The best service I have gotten anywhere and I travel a lot. They hooked me up with my tour to Ninh Binh and other guests for Ha Long Bay and Sapa, gave me recommendations for food places and were always available to help with anything. They waited with me till my Grab to the airport arrived when I was leaving and even communicated with the driver for me in their local language. I thought that was above and beyond. And the breakfast is really good (worth waking up early on a vacay for) and the room itself has everything you could possibly need, and is reasonably sized. Not too small, but not big either. Bathroom is good quality and clean. Water was excellent (i like hot showers and never had issues). "

"Our stay at Solaria Hotel was amazing — easily the best in Hanoi! The room was spacious and beautiful, which is rare in the Old Quarter. The location was perfect, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and main sights. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved relaxing with cocktails at the rooftop bar after exploring. A huge thanks to Liam, who organised our Ha Long Bay trip, airport transfers, and even a complimentary foot spa. He made everything stress-free, especially travelling with kids. We also received a lovely thank-you gift of Vietnamese coffee when we left — such a thoughtful touch. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Solaria Hotel!"

"Maltida worked, medium on mattress (medium and especially soft can be a challenge to find in south east asia). Breakfast was delicious and ample enough variety and good juice and coffee. staff was friendly and helpful. used airport transfer service. my intl phone was acting up at airport, so had to buy vietnam sim to make contact with hotel and coordinate my pickup. arrival area was confusing and chaotic. and lots of tots trying to get you into their transport cars. Overall stay was great. its in very busy portion of old Hanoi, so walking, traffic and tots can be overwhelming."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Centrally located and convenient within the old quarter. The stand outs are the service and breakfast buffet. Every service member I interacted with was friendly and professional. Requests were fulfilled immediately and with enthusiasm and care. The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise. Great assortment of food at the buffet as well as food and drinks available to order at no cost. The selection changed slightly each morning so I was excited to see what was available every day. The hotel also contacted me before arrival and offered a driver service from the airport to hotel for a reasonable fee. We also arranged the same service to the airport when departing and this was organised seamlessly. Upon leaving we were gifted cute tote bags! "

"I only stayed for (2) nights, as I was waiting for some friends to arrive in Vietnam. So as a single, Black female, I felt pretty safe. The staff was very sweet to me, & even booked me transportation from the airport to the hotel. The front desk concierge (Hannah) also helped calling a cab to take me to my second destination early in the morning. The hotel is in a very convient & lively spot, I was able to walk to get pho, ramen, etc. at night with no problem because they were about a 5 min walk from the hotel. I’d certainly recommend this spot if you’re staying in Hanoi."
