"Customer service is topnotch! They explained everything about the hotel (dining, onsen, room, shuttle bus). The breakfast buffet was great! Lots of choices even with the drinks. They have free foot spa, and then the onsen was the best. So relaxing after a whole tiring day. Also, there is a free hot/cold variety of teas near the foot spa area which was really good. The room is clean, lots of freebies in the bathroom. There are also slippers with different sizes, and pajama which was really cool....

Hotel Okada
Hakone Pax Yoshino
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (461)
"I can’t write enough great things about Pax Yoshino. This was my first time staying at a Ryokan and it did not dissapoint. The stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel is pristine and the rooms were immaculate. The inane on the top floor were absolutely beautiful. The staff was so very nice and spoke English. The Keiseki dinner was my absolute favorite. Authentic Japanese food cooked right at your table. My only disappointment was that I could not stay longer. 10/10. "

"This was the most authentic japanese stay. I am glad I stayed here but we did have a miscommunication but ended up staying in a amazing Japanese Ryokan style extra large family room (without a shower). There is a swimming pool and NO lazy river. But mid July (summer) the swimming pool was closed and completely green and the kids were dissapointed. I also would not suggest walking there with suitcases its on a hill and it's a fair way - just get a taxi for $6-$10 Us dollars for a 8min drive from...
