"The staffs were extremely helpful during the check in by carrying all luggage’s and guided us all the way to our rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious. The onsen in the room is well maintained and with great view. The breakfast was way beyond expectation. Although the hotel is a bit far from train station, by the hotel shuttle service made it very convenience. Great hotel and excellent service!"

"The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcomed and helped you settle in. The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend...

Top Yumoto Hotel Reviews

The Fujiya Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Onsen was wonderful"

Hakone Airu

10/10 Excellent

"This is a unique experience enjoying a traditional Japanese experience. The accommodations, while unique were not as comfortable as we hoped but the onsen (hot spring bath) was absolutely wonderful and very enjoyable. The food they serve is also traditional Japanese, and while it was delicious, you really get little choice as the menus are set. That said, I would definitely recommend the Hakone Airu for it's great service and for the unique experience."

Hotel Nanpuso

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent. Clean, beautiful property with a friendly staff. Love the Kaiseki dinners, wide variety of breakfast buffet options. Natural unseen hot springs was excellent. PS. I love the place, but the Expedia did screw up. I chose the place because of their Kaiseki dinners, I chose and paid for it. The hotel did not have the information, I chose the dinner plan but the property did not receive the information. Costing me more money. But I’m glad I did it because it was worth the experience."
