We love visiting Beccles, it's such a charming classic English market town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and pubs to keep you entertained for a week of more. We love kayaking on the Waveney River to the Locks restaurant and pub, taking long walks, and exploring the surrounding countryside including the beautiful Suffolk coast. "A bit dated compared with other ‘chain hotels’ I have stayed in in the recent past but very convenient for what we needed on this visit."

"The stay was superb. The place is incredibly quiet with where it's positioned at the rear of the property. Extremely clean, very comfortable king sized bed, all the kitchen amenities we needed and felt extremely welcomed upon our arrival. It made for a lovely weekend getaway with so many local walks, places too see and multiple shops and pubs close by. Also having full access to the grounds and garden was a gorgeous addition also. 10/10, Couldn't improve on it, Will definitely be staying again. "
