"A lovely quirky hotel in the centre of Southwold. The staff were brilliant in every area: reception, breakfast, bar, dinner. While the room was quite small, there were nice touches. Free parking is a bonus. It’s an old building so don’t expect air conditioning and there’s lots of creaky staircases. The seagulls are noisy in the morning but you’d expect that being next to the sea. We had breakfast and dinner both nights and the food quality was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this...

"The apartment enjoys a central location in the lovely quaint coastal town of Southwold. A very comfortable, spacious flat with plenty of shops and places to eat on your doorstep. The bedrooms are on a slightly lower level to the living room and kitchen area and would benefit from some sort of coloured strip to draw your attention to this as the flooring is all one uniform colour. An accident waiting to happen! Otherwise a really nice place to stay."
