The Westleton Crown
10/10 Excellent
"A very good hotel and excellent value for money.
It is only let down slightly by the quality of evening meals served in its restaurant. Note, the breakfasts were excellent but I will definitely return to try it again. "
"1. The STEP ups and downs between rooms are DANGEROUS for older people! HEALTH AND SAFETY would not be impressed. Just a clear white marking would solve this.
2. Inadequate seating in TV room. PLUS old settee needs updating. Only three people seated .Take out desk and replace with comfortable armchairs.
3. Info on wifi incorrect BUT was solved two days later by SADIE emailing correct codes.
4 Dirty dishes in cupboard by door to garden
5 No batteries in a TV control in other room PLUS no channels available.
6 First aid box needs updating with compartments clearly marked. Everything was just stuffed in haphazardly
7Shower curtains should be replaced with folding doors as water cascaded into floor.
8. New pans especially frying pan. We were 5 ! How 10 would manage I do NOT KNOW.
To summarise ,just a visit from a suitable official is badly needed to address these points. This BEAUTIFUL house deserves it!!"
"I was disappointed that there was no communal dining area.
I had two friends, who were staying at the same time.
It would have been nice, to have our breakfast together.
Regards,
Mike Body"
