"Comfy, clean, spacious room with kitchenette, lovely clean bathroom and a balcony. The apartments are located behind the main drag so are nice and quiet. Nobody at reception when we arrived and room not ready so we had to busy ourselves elsewhere for a few hours. Thought we were paying by card on line but seemingly not - ended up paying in cash at the owners request. Overall - room really nice; service not bad but not great."

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. There were 5 spaces near the entrance - all taken when we arrived, so we parked on the street and got a ticket. The room was spacious and beautiful. "The property is very clean, the pool was lovely for a refreshing dip and there was a bar serving cool drinks. The beach and local restaurants were a short walk away. It would be advantageous if the property updated the air conditioning units, as the current unit did not keep the room cool. But an enjoyable and relaxing stay all the same."
