"Property was ok. No proper check in arrangements. On line descriptions inaccurate. No on site catering available."

"Nice place, good location. Very quiet. Host was very helpful. Thank you."

"We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. "

"Amazing break away with the kids. Will definitely be back, thank you so much! "

"No wardrobe space in hotel room"

"The staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Room awful, old dated scratched furniture, stains on carpets and couch, the sink had cracks , I went for a Antrim room as I thought they had been recently redecorated, room 405 had not, our view was a cream wall, and a skyline window that had flaking paint..definitely disappointing. I would not stay again."

"Property looks run-down with damaged wall and worn carpets. Old fashioned shower needed fiddling to balance from taps. Breakfast - good selection and reasonable value. Charged extra. Bed comfortable. Would rate barely as three star."

"A convenient self-catering apartment close to the beach. A lovely welcome by the woman on reception and the cleaning staff also very nice. Kitchen area was well-equipped and the bathroom had a bath and shower. Bedroom was spacious. Only down-side was hearing the person in the apartment above us stomping around through the floor-boards! But I guess this is normal for a victorian building. Overall, very satisfied."

"The hotel was in a great location. The airport bus stopped about 10 minutes walk away. Marks and Spencer’s, local shops, esplanade and theatre are all within walking distance. The hotel offers a good breakfast and the rooms are a good size."

"Hotel very clean , when staff were around they were helpful, Location is good for views and although a bus stop fairly close it’s a good 15 min walk to pubs/ restaurants shops"

"The Room was on the top floor and was very clean. The lift help us get to our room. The staff friendly and was interested in engaging with the guests. We took breakfast each morning which had a good selection of cereals, Bread Cheeses and cold meats. the cooked breakfast was very good. Just a short walk from Douglases High street but also right on the sea front. We had a fantastic 6 day here and I would recommend it to anyone. The free food and Soft drinks in the fridge was a nice touch and was...

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff"

"The property was in an ideal location for all the Bowling Greens used for the Isle of Man Bowls Festival. Only 5 minutes walk to the local Tesco and 10 minutes to the sea front. The apartment was clean and comfortable with no noise from the other apartments in the building. When staying in the apartments you have use of the restaurant and bar in the sister hotel which us 2 minutes walk away. I would recommend to family and friends"

"The hosts, staff, position and breakfast were excellent. They fostered an atmosphere of welcoming, sharing, community. Exceptional part of our travels!"

"The location was beautiful on the sea front and near the electric train. We rented a car for one day and we were easily able to find parking in front of the building. We didn’t eat breakfast at King’s House as we were busy in the mornings. We got fresh towels each day and a fresh supply of cookies and tea. The staff were eager to help with whatever you needed."

"The rooms are clean, the staff are fantastic and their breakfast is wonderful."
