"Lovely welcome with help with bags offered without asking. Friendly check in and immediate help when our ‘phone wouldn’t work in the room (not that we needed it- apart from to call reception to book our hour slot in for the spa facilities). Good service for food and drink on the evening and a lovely breakfast. My only slight ‘gripe’ is the hour allocation for the use of the spa area. "I enjoyed my stay. The spa area was very nicely decorated and luxurious. Highly recommend walking the ‘Trim Trail’ around the golf course if the weather is good. I think one more towel in the bathroom would be ideal because women often want to wrap their hair in a towel when they wash it. "

It would benefit from continuous housekeeping assessment & maintenance in the bedroom areas though - our room was a lovely very large, front facing one but the bathroom sink plug mechanism was broken & part of one of the curtains was hanging off the rail. "Amazing locations and great hotel. Generally clean and well maintained throughout. In the room, pillows were flat (they were huge and the filling didn't stay put) and the room a bit too warm. Restaurant staff not particularly attentive. Breakfast was good."
