Newcastle on Tyne is both diverse and distinctive. So many different styles of building, and the omnipresent bridges that frame the skyline of the Tyne valley. The medieval part by the river, the shopping at Metrocentre. I love to come here.

There is so much to do in this lovely, friendly city. We hope to be back to visit the amazing castles in the area, and go to the Life Centre again, which itself warrants a couple of days to go through all the fun interactive displays.

A great city to visit. The historic area of the castle was very interesting. The city had great access to Hadrians Wall so that was another good day trip from the city. Very fun restaurants and bars in the area as well.

We had a great weekend. An amazing evening of comedy at The Stand, a beautiful meal and cocktails at Leila Lily's. We then enjoyed a wonderful drag cabaret show at The Boulevard!
