"Beautiful room and great breakfast"

"Good for a single night. No amenities."

"Great breakfast!"

"Very cute and well kept up place - so close to Mount Rushmore"

"Staff was most helpful. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Was clean and even the coffee was good. Thanks."

"Happy with the stay. Room was perfect location to base daily trips to see the local sights from"

"Booked 2 Queen bed, accessible room. Received confirmation, but was told only a King bed, accessible was available. Had no choice but to accept room which meant has to share bed with mother who had just been discharged from physical rehab hospital. Was not offered discount for inconvenience. Employees were very nice, though. Room needed vacuuming and there was a white sticky substance (candy?) That hadn't been cleaned off small standing table, chair and footrest. Good breakfast buffet."

"The ClubHouse Hotel was a great home base for our trip to Rapid City. Everything feels new and well cared for, and our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We also liked having free breakfast, free parking, and an indoor pool right at the hotel. It was easy to get around town and head out to see the area. If you are visiting the Black Hills, we would definitely recommend staying here."

"Nice"

"My room was fabulous. Clean smelled great. . The heater was quiet and worked nicely . 2 chairs to watch the tv with pretty good Chanel’s to choose from. Light was perfect room was quiet and dark at night bathroom was clean a big the fan was quiet so I didn’t wake anyone up when I used the light . Enough plugs to use two c paps ! Hot tub looked nice but did not use .workout room had treadmill and exercise room bike a rare find. Everyone was super helpful. coffee and water in lobby hall ....

"Not safe!!! Things were stolen from our hotel room! Staff did nothing and didn't seems to care. Signs clearly state that they do not clean rooms unless requested, yet they cleaned ours the day after we reported the missing items. No cameras in hallways or elevator. Witnessed another person having a bag stolen as well. I am in awe of the lack of care the staff has. Do not trust this place!"

"My husband and I love staying at historic hotels and the Alex Johnson Hotel in Rapid City is a favorite. The building is wonderful and the staff was excellent. Clean, charming and welcoming. Great shops and restaurants in the building and more in easy walking distance."

"Staff were very friendly, room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, the breakfast staff did a great job keeping food coming and keeping cold food cold and warm food warm, The chocolate waffles were a hit! I was very disappointed that there was no hot tub but after getting over that our stay was very pleasant"
