This is one of the best B&B's I have stayed at. The rooms are so nice and cozy. The owners are extremely friendly, and the food is so good. Not you typical "breakfast included" fair. We are already planning our next trip back, and we will be eating at shipwreck almost every meal!

Besides the amazing property and location, the food and service were a 10! Recently aquired by the owners in the spring of last year, there have already been improvements to the grounds with new flower beds and landscaping. Clean, private and safe environment! Very pleasant visiting with the hosts. We highly recommend and we can't wait to stay there again!

Perfect place to stay!

The Sweetgrass Inn B&B was the perfect place to stay on our vacation. The room was perfect! Clean and comfortable beds. The restaurant had a lot of food options and was very good. We highly recommend Sweetgrass Inn B&B to anyone traveling to South Dakota! We will be back!

We had a lovely stay in this clean, comfortable, well-appointed and peaceful location. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the light change over the adjacent pasture. Staff was all pleasant and helpful.

I really liked the queen loft room we stayed at, for both privacy and the unique layout. The daily breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was a big plus. Additionally, the community room for access to resources and continental breakfast was a very nice perk. The owners are hard-working and friendly as well. Thanks for the enjoyable experience!

Great B & B !! Clean Rooms, very personized, showed room and made sure everything was perfect! They have a common room with water, ice, coffee, shared refrigerator, snacks, comfortable seating area, etc. they have a restaurant bar and grill, entertainment, great food, and the free full breakfast off their menu. A most wonderful stay with Andrea & Adam at Sweetgrass. They are down to earth and super-friendly; and dang it if they don't serve the BEST steak tips and eggs ever!!! The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We were in need of nothing while there. They are new owners that took over a little over a year ago and are making everything about the place better. Breakfast is in the restaurant that is part of the property and it was all good and plentiful. There was bottled water in the mini fridge and snacks in the room. The area is quiet with a parking lot just for the guests at the inn. Less than a 30 minute drive to Mt. Rushmore. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Maginally happy

Nice place for comfort and quiet. Hot water is a major issue. They shoud'nt offer a jetted tub if they don't have enough hot water to fill it. Also we were the only guests there for 2 days and the water issue remained the same. The bathroon vanity is very small with no countertop to lay out the usual things people have with them and would like to have them within reach when getting ready for the day or even brushing teeth. Instead of extending our stay a couple of days longer we decided to find other accomodations.

Great room-with a nice big jacuzzi tub. Access to a shared kitchen with snacks. Snacks and water in the room. Loved walking over to the restaurant to order the breakfast I wanted and it was really good-very fresh! We enjoyed dessert there the night before-lots of yummy options.
