Conveniently located downtown, next to the river walk; walkable to several restaurants, shops, sites and Moccasin spa. Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Proprietors are friendly and helpful with recommendations. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

This was a great place to stay while enjoying the Black Hills area. The room was clean. It was nice to have the café there for coffee and breakfast to start the day. Currently, there’s Construction going on but since we are gone all day doing things, that never impacted us. Parking was easy there were plenty of restaurants and adult drinking establishments nearby to keep us happy. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful rooms, great location in Hot Springs South Dakota! The staff was wonderful and the cafe attached to the hotel was very nice. Coffee and Tea Bar was especially welcoming. Hot Springs is a great place to walk around and explore.

It was a great stay- friendly owners, clean and nice room. The cafe was delicious, affordable and the service was great. Only negatives are the walls are thin and the air conditioner was super loud which made sleeping more difficult when you have kids.

Epitome of a "mom and pop" business operated by the Wetzel family. A small, but clean, motel located centrally in Hot Springs, SD, along a lovely brook. Walking distance to restaurants and businesses and easy driving to the Mammoth Site. Mrs. W operates a coffee shop/restaurant as part of the business, making a (15% discounted) breakfast convenient and delicious. Altogether a nice place, including a free mountain stream

Good place to stop when traveling with a dog to the pretty little town of Hot Springs. Right on the river, with its trail—perfect for dog walking. Footbridges make walking to restaurants and shops easy. Family owned and operated by friendly, welcoming staff. We had messaged in advance to make sure they knew that we needed a pet friendly room (they were one of the few places that responded), and when we arrived, they offered a cabin, which was very cozy and comfortable with a separate bedroom and living/kitchen area. The cafe was the only disappointment. It was nice to be able to sit outside with our dog, but next time we would go somewhere else for a better breakfast and coffee.
