"I heard a few bad reviews so I was a bit apprehensive about booking . The moment I arrived at the reception it did take a few moments for the staff to allocate a room but it wasn’t a long wait I was approached with smiles . The staff are friendly and always helpful . The room was exceptionally clean , equipped with a microwave /fridge freezer and cutlery /mugs /tea and coffee /milk and a kettle . I slept like a baby . No Air conditioner but a fan but to be fair it’s a 3 star hotel so I wasn’t expected an AC although it would have been great (lol). Breakfast was decent . Please do not go by the reviews on here , book it and experience it for yourself . I don’t know what people were really expecting for a 3 star hotel but I was genuinely impressed. "

"The hotel was more than you could ask for, clean, quiet, reasonably priced food and drink. Rooms and bed was spacious and comfortable. Spa and pool were lovely… The shredded duck pizza was something I’ve never had and it was amazing!! All round on everything it’s 10/10 from me!!!"

"From a lovely Indian girl on reception who went out of her way to assist me. Nicest reception staff I’ve experienced in Oxford area and I generally stay in the city centre, Marriot, Malmaison, Premier inn. The hotel overall was much nicer than any of the above. I usually visit about every 6?weejs fir a medical appointment, sometimes 4 weeks. I will be staying 100%"

"We checked in too early so they were kind enough to hold our bags so we could go out & about. He gave us a map with a good explanation of the top spots to see today & tomorrow. The room was quite nice with a storage closet. Tea kettle & Walkers cookies were enjoyed every night. Next door we had breakfast that was good. The walk to train station is only 10 min. The open market on Wednesday & Saturday is to the left then right at light. Plenty of food choices there. It closes up about 5pm. If you want to really save money go to the tourist info place on Broad & sign up for the free walking tour given twice a day 11am & 2pm. This hotel is safe & so convenient to tour Oxford. Highly recommend it! "

"The staff was the kindest and most helpful that I have ever met. There were so many thoughtful touches- guiding us to our room, coffee and tea in our room offering unlimited information on demand. Quality touches such as robes and slippers, heated towel rack, beautiful lighting ( even in the closet) and excellent toiletries. Our view was not great, but the room was so beautiful that we did not need to look out. The woman who showed us to our room noted that all things in the room were complimentary. Many times it is impossible to know. I would love to stay here again. "
