"This is my hometown and I was visiting from Canada. Lovely room nice and clean. I ended up with an accessible room which was lovely but no drawers or cupboard to store clothes which was a bit odd. Front desk staff awesome and friendly lots of tea and coffee for the room The one gentleman in the restaurant made my stay with giving me ice and being so chipper they breakfasts are a fantastic deal I’ll be back Please consider placing fridges in the room! That was the only annoyance"

"We booked a room for one of our engineers. When he arrived they were full booked and had no rooms available for our employee. They didn’t offer to help find him another hotel. We called them with the booking reference same one our employee had shown and still no room at the inn. Totality disappointed with the staff and hotel"

With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). We ate both times at the pub, breakfast & dinner, I think the menu is too big which led to some inconsistent dishes being serviced. Breakfast first day had no toast but on the second day had toast. 2 hash browns second day but 1 first day. Little things like this don’t mean much but breakfast is the last...
