"I spent the night at the Travelodge High Wycombe Central while attending a workshop at the nearby Bucks New University. The facilities while not first rate offered value for the money spent, the bed was OK, the room was clean, and I felt secure. The location though in the center of town were pretty quiet and allowed for good sleep. The view from my room wasn't anything to write home about, but this was understandable. "Arriving around midnight after a long drive I was initially thankful there was someone there to open the door. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. My expectations were pretty low, all I wanted was a hot drink, a wash and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were no drink-making facilities, no towels, no pillows on the bed and only a dirty bar of soap with a previous guests whiskers stuck into it.
