"Amazing "

"We had an amazing stay at Palm Cay. In light of the recent USA warning of violence we felt perfectly safe in the gated secure community. The townhouse was as pictured. Clean, modern and up to date. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very nice. One comment was there was not a dresser in the twin bedroom where my husband and I stayed. The closet was large but as I am short 5’3 and could not reach the shelf in the closet so I had to leave my suitcase on the floor. Would have preferred a dresser with drawers. Also the power went out one afternoon(not anyone’s fault) but there were no candles to help light when it was dark. The owner provider water bottles for the beach and beach towels. Would have been nice to have beach chairs for the beach but we understand it must be difficult to keep those as I’m sure they would break easily. The beach was magnificent and the small communal pool was nice. We did not know that the larger pool and beach club would not be available to us that was not mentioned in the contract or advertisement on the website. Would have been nice to use that larger pool and have access to the beach bar. Owner should mention that to potential renters. We definitely will come back in the future!"

"This was our first visit to the Bahamas and being that we don’t like crowds and the resort scene all that much, we took a chance and booked Tangerine Sunsets. The property is on the south side of the island so away from all the major resorts lining the north beaches. We cooked a few meals from the house but for eating out or getting to any of the north beaches, expect a ~20-25 min drive. We knew what we were getting with selecting the location so it was fine. The view from the balcony I couldn’t get enough of. We could see sea turtles off the short and sting rays just sitting there and looking out. It is literally steps from the ocean so you can hear the waves all day. I think a VRBO photo during the day where you can see the beautiful shades of blue would definitely sell some more people on this more remote location. The beach was mostly empty the entire time we were there so definitely checked the private beach box. There is also decent snorkeling just off the beach if you swim out past the sea grass area. The house worked fine for our family of 5. The only negative is I was expecting a sofa bed for the 5th bed but my son wound up sleeping on the couch. He’s 9 so not a big deal but I don’t think a larger person would have been ok with that arrangement even though the description says it sleeps 5. The pros totally outweighed the cons. We were so happy to not have to drive to other beaches with the luxury of having one right out the back door. Would definitely rent again."

"We had an amazing stay here. The location was quiet and well kept. The home was well furnished and kitchen well equipped. We especially enjoyed BBQing by the pool and swimming. Several beaches were only a few minutes drive as well as grocery stores. Our hostesses was manager were easy to contact if needed and a pleasure to communicate with. We will try to stay here again on our next visit to Nassau."

"The house, staff and chef were amazing. We had two families total 14 people, and everybody was extremely comfortable and well taken care of. We enjoyed the private beach, docked our boat at the private dock, and played pickle ball on the private tennis court. Looking forward to going back."

"This was a great house in Old Fort Bay on one of the canals. Clear water: lots of fish at the dock, and a sea turtle also! The house was modern, immaculate, and very safe and secure. The outside deck and pool were lovely. We very much enjoyed our time there and would return in a flash. Recommended."
