"Hotel was under minor construction but didn’t affect our stay. We were on the 36th floor and the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up all week. It didn’t get under 70 in our room but also could lower the temp past 68. The king bed room was super small for 2 people plus luggage also. Our flight got cancelled so we were able to rebook in a different room on the third floor and it was great. More room and great air conditioning. The location was also a great. Super close to everything. The staff was super helpful and friendly as well. Would definitely stay again if I ever return to NYC!"

"For a pretty expensive hotel, it was missing something for me. Positives: Great rooms, spacious and very clean! Negatives: no room service, small scratchy towels, no tea or coffee included, loud noises in the hallways and a rooftop that is open to the public so it’s veeeeery busy. In a lovely area and nice bathrooms, but there are a few things that could make it the extra bit worth your money. Staff were lovely and helpful!"

Hotel St. James

"It is an appealing, older, traditional hotel ideally located in the theater district only a block from times square. The room was well appointed and comfortable. There is a nice lounge on ground floor. The AC worked well and there was minimal street noise. There is no breakfast but a deli next to the hotel has a wide variety of chouices for breakfast at at reasonable price, A parking garage is conveniently located across the street."

Empire Hotel

"Stayed at the Empire Hotel last week for a week while I worked in Manhattan. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby had lovely jazzy vibes. I asked for a quiet room as I needed good sleep to work and they provided the perfect room. It is perfectly located beside the Lincoln Centre and the subway is a 2 minute walk. I will stay again for sure."
