"The property itself was small but charming, the rooms/suites were large and the backyard was spacious as well with a private pool (a bit chilly as there is not much sun in the back). The room rates were very reasonable for what we got. That being said there was no housekeeping (we stayed for 5 days) and it got quite sandy and messy as there was no broom for us to use. "When arriving to Kuun Taak, we got our walk-thru and I really liked what I saw. The property is very beautiful and has a second floor since we booked the family section with two bedrooms, private hot tub and a private pool. The hot tub on the second floor still had leaves in it. This was a huge disappointment since I was looking forward to the hot tub after a long trip..but I digress and I didn't make a big deal at the time. I was told that if I make a request that the hot tub would be prepared....

"Loved the property and the condo. It was very clean, stocked with essentials, and had multiple pools. The rooftop restaurant was nice and food was awesome. They do have assigned underground parking.Only downfall is finding it and the streets are horrible. We received our checkin email the day of but was able to checkin a hour early. If your not fluent in Spanish definitely have a translator app available because majority of staff speaks Spanish but everyone was very nice."

When we 1st came to the property there was no line no wait but when we got to the room the sheets were okay the bathroom was dirty and the toilet seat was broken falling apart (it did when we left) also. There was just dust everywhere. the door of our room DID NOT WORK they actually had to change the battery or lock on our door to fix the key. That made me feel unsafe. "Our family stayed here for the second half of Spring Break. It was a beautiful space with stocked kitchen to ensure a comfortable stay. The gated community felt safe. This isn't walkable distance to the beach, you'll definitely need to rent bikes/scooters/car to get around. We had some small issues during our stay, but the owner Ashley was prompt and responsive. She was able to get someone to tend to them immediately. She even helped us coordinate a driver to the airport."

"We loved the condo we stayed in. It’s in a protected section right on the bay. The breeze from the gulf was constant and the beauty outstanding. Our host has nice taste in the appointments. "My husband and I stayed for three wonderful nights. The condo was well-equipped. Although we did not really cook, it appeared to have everything needed should you choose to cook. The water supply and ability to make ice was a definite plus. We also appreciated the variety of games. The seaweed was expected, but not a problem for us. The water shoes that were supplied made it easy to get passed it and over the rocks to enjoy the beautiful clear water! Although a bit snug for my husband's size...

"Me and my girlfriend loved the stay at this villa, it had a nice sense of privacy with the private pool on the rooftop. It was an easy process checking in with simple instructions. The villa wasn’t far from the Main Street (not walking distance) but a bike ride or simple taxi ride away. I would definitely stay here again"

We did have to message the host a few times during our stay because of minor issues. Although the host was quick to respond and was trying to resolve the issues in a quick manner."

"What a great stay. This place was perfect for us and our kids/grandchildren. The welcome information packet has everything you can think of for your stay. Spending 24 days here was relaxing and felt like home. The pool was nice and the we loved the lagoon. My husband fished off the pier, catching some nice fish. Also, having the kayaks and paddle boards were nice for our grow children. Having the golf cart was nice but you could walk it if you don't mind a 15 min walk down to the restaurants....

Therefore there was nobody available to check us in and had we not spoke Spanish, would have been in a difficult situation. We had to locate our room ourselves, which was unexpected and took us a while to locate as it is a large building. The property is on the outskirts of Tulum and taxis are needed to travel around. The taxis in Tulum are ruinously expensive and we spent...
