"We got a nice upgrade to a family suite that was very comfortable. The WiFi worked well on the 3rd floor; he had installed a repeater. There was TV, but we didn’t speak Italian so we didn’t watch. The bathroom was a little small, but at least it was an ensuite. It was an easy walk to the vaporetto stop on the north as well as the south side of Venice. Nicola was very friendly and helpful and available whenever we needed him. It is a very nice property. Venice is a city of lots of walking!"

"This property is pretty but a bit far away from the main areas and tourist attracts. Night time is very quiet with no one around. It is perfect if you want to be able to walk to the touristy areas in the day and return back to quiet at night. Rooms were large and clean, our room wasn’t modern like in the photos which I was expecting but had a kitchenette and a large bedroom. Staff was very lovely and very helpful! "

"This place was situated in a great spot for walking around town for us. We could easily get to a grocery store, restaurants, and some excellent gelato. The place was a comfortable size for us two. Our hosts were informative, friendly, and communicated promptly. We appreciated their hospitality!"

I loved the ease of walking down the street in the morning to get coffee and pastry, there is also a supermarket close by to stock up on anything you may need during your trip. "Original hotel cancelled, so booked this one last minute. Breakfast included warm croissants with chocolate, as well as juice and an asortment of cereals. Room was single bunks in 60 square feet including bathroom, but was the last available. Walls are thin, you can hear everything. There were issues with the price between the website and the owner, which is not acceptable and very uncomfortable."

"This is perhaps the worst hotel experience ever. First of all, this is not even a hotel or hostel or a b&b. It is simply a flat where the owner himself (a rather old italian man) lives and rents out two spare rooms. No website bears an indication of this! In real life the flat looks nothing like the pictures. The rooms dont lock, or better to say the man does not give you the key to lock your room. The bathroom is shared.
