A wonderful hotel, with a great location opposite the station. Felt truly Venetian. The bar staff were lovely and the receptionist was so helpful. Arranged a day trip for us via private water taxi to Murano with no cost, just tip to the driver. Would highly recommend.

This hotel has a tremendous advantage over other hotels because of its location. We arrived in Venice with two other couples after a one week cruise on Norwegian Gem. Each of us decided to stay in Venice for three days however we chose separate hotels. Getting from the cruise port to Venice is a 2 hour drive in case you are in the same situation. Our hotels offered transportation but the costs was ridiculous. Luckily we traveled and split the cost. Once we arrived in Venice we needed to get our own transportation to our individual hotels. Trying to get your luggage over the bridges in Venice is a major issue. We all hired a porter to take care of this. Best money ever spent. The Hotel Antiche Figure was only 2 bridges and 5 minutes away. The other couples were 15 minutes or more away. The hotel sits right on the Grand Canal which is also right across from the train station. Going to excursions was easy to get to because the water bus was again on the other side of the canal. The hotel staff are excellent, friendly and very professional. The elevator was actually out when we arrived but they carried our 4 large pieces of luggage upstairs for us and apologized for the inconvenience. It was working the next day. They gave great advice on local spots and arranged for our transportation to the airport. The free breakfast was nice and had a variety of continental style options. Our last day there we took advantage of being across from the train station and took a quick trip

The location was wonderful, right on the Canal and across the canal from the train station. We had a beautiful junior suite that was spacious and faced the canal. The staff was amazing. They carried bags when the lift was being repaired, arranged transportation to the airport, gave directions, made dinner reservations, and even packed us breakfast to go for an early morning flight. It was lovely in every way and we highly recommend.

The Hotel Antiche staff is superb. On arrival they explained clearly where we were in Venice and provided us a map, circling things we were interested in. They are located directly across from the train station, so when you arrive you just walk out, over the nearby bridge and a bit down to the hotel. The only not great aspect was the elevator was out of order. A staffer carried our luggage up for us and down the next day, but it was clear it had been broken a while and is something that needs to be fixed. Our room was very clean and very quiet. Breakfast was amazing. There was almost anything you could want from fresh pancakes to rolls to yogurt to cereals to meats to cheeses to fresh fruit to even more. You do need to pay attention to signage, as the eggs are raw. You can soft or hard boil to taste, but don't pick one up assuming it's cooked, because it's not. From our passports, they realized it was my birthday and a beautiful breakfast cake was delivered to us. Very rich, we had two small slices and gave the rest to the staff. They helped us find a porter to take all our luggage to the taxi stand, which may not sound like much until you consider bridges are the only way you get over the canals in Venice and they all have multiple steps. We picked this hotel based on location and ended up with a great find we would happily recommend.

The staff was extremely helpful in every way and the location couldn’t have been better!!! Right on the Grand Canal and straight across from the train station!!! The breakfast in the mornings was wonderful and had a very nice selection of pastries and meat and cheeses!!!! They also have a nice small bar area too!!! It came in very handy to come back in the afternoons and have wine outside the hotel and just sit and people watch!!! We would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, She arranged a complimentary trip for us that included a guided tour of a glass factory in Burano which enhanced our Venice experience.Thanks to the great service, delicious breakfast and memorable excursion!Greatly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Venice.
