"The place was clean but it needs love....some repairs and paint job. An overall feeling of neglect. The terrace is just like the picture and we had a lovely afternoon there. The staff is very good and answers quickly. They made the difference. Without them I believe we would have left. We were there for a week. We took the tourist bus that picks you up in town ( about a 10 minutes walk just after the grocery store Coop, and brings you to Catania. On the way back it also stops at Aci Castello. We did not have a car and everything is far enough. A car would be a big plus. Most tours start in Catania. I do not recommend this place to people who are somewhat picky."
