Top Carteret Hotel Reviews
Row Nyc
8/10 Good
"Clean Room. Bathroom a bit small. Service at reception was very slow. But staff was great."
Hilton Garden Inn New York/Central Park South-Midtown West
10/10 Excellent
"A little smaller room, but was a very nice room and was quiet."
PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel
8/10 Good
"We recently stayed at PUBLIC Hotel in New York and overall really enjoyed the hotel itself. The property has a very cool, modern atmosphere, and we especially loved the bars, rooftop, and lounge areas. The hotel has a great vibe and is definitely a fun place to stay in the city."
Hotel St. James
8/10 Good
"The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip as it was only a short walk to the Morgan Library and other attractions we were visiting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel is older and while it shows some wear & tear it’s not being neglected. We arrived on an early flight and the front desk let us drop our luggage off so we could hit the sites prior to checking in. There aren’t many “amenities” hence the low score for that category but the hotel served our needs for this trip and I wouldn’t mind staying there again."
NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
8/10 Good
"Staff and location are unmatched. Rooms and hotel overall are outdated and need updates. Walls, walls, baseboards, trim and furnishings all showed some extreme signs of age. For the price I paid for a 1 night stay, I only see worth for the location."
Pod Times Square
10/10 Excellent
"This is my go-to in NYC. Clean, affordable, nice staff, no deposit. Any food you can think of on 9th Ave and a direct shot to airports from Port Authority next door."
New York Marriott Marquis
10/10 Excellent
"Thank you to housekeeper !"
Empire Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was clean. Served it’s overnight sleeping purposes. Thanks"
Lotte New York Palace
8/10 Good
"Clean room and comfortable bed. I was surprised that the hotel is not as renovated as I had expected — it’s nice but not THAT nice as it is an older hotel. The staff is not 5 star like in other high end hotels. For instance, the hostess at the Gold Room was not helpful and prioritized talking with another coworker showing something on her phone, and the housekeeper that brought us a mini fridge at night clearly did not want to be working. The hotel is fine but not a wow."
