"From the minute you walk in, you can instantly tell that this is the kind of hotel that has excellence as its main objective, I was greeted by a lovely lass at reception who checked me in, she was confident & had great personality, it was easy an absolute pleasure to had met her, even for that short spell, she made me feel most welcome (well done, most impressed) I only wish I got her name, I stay in hotels literally every night for anything from 3-6 wks at a time all over UK & Europe, some like this just a 1 night & I’m off again, sometimes several nights whilst I’m part of an event team, but not in a long time had I stayed overnight in such a spacious & comfortable room as this, I think my 1st flat was almost the same size ! the bed was slightly too soft for me & my ageing bones, yet I did like the way it kind of felt initially as you sank into it upon lying down, liken it to lying on a fluffy cloud ! This really though, was a superb find for me, stepping away from the usual beside the motorway style accommodation, it’s a gorgeous property, well presented with staff that matched this in every way, well done & thank you for a fantastic if not brief stay."

"This is a great hotel to stay in. Right on the beach, parking, lovely staff and clean rooms. As an added bonus we had a fab seaview too. Sue who works on Reception could not have been more helpful and friendly. Great value, great service, great location, great hotel"

"Lovely house, great location, would definitely recommend. We had our dog with us which unfortunately let the holiday down a tad because of 'the ranges'. I hadn't realised the ferocity of the firing. My dog is VERY noise sensitive so we had to jump in the car and run out of earshot most days. We really liked Hythe and the friendliness of all the folk we met. We went on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway a couple of times which was great. I paddled the Royal Military Canal a couple of times...had it to myself both times. The Happy Shack down the end of the road is a great breakfast treat."

"Booked a 3 night stay here, as looking for somewhere close to our visit to Port Lympne Safari Park. Friendly, welcoming staff on arrival, couldn't have been more helpful. Had a drink in the garden on arrival, nice little sun trap. Room was very spacious and clean, even had a fridge and microwave which we wasn't expecting. Fridge was a blessing in the hot weather to keep cold drinks in. Bathroom also spacoius and very clean and the shower was really good too. Welcome tray good little selection and you only had to ask for more, if you ran out. Only little critisism was we had a meal and the chicken was over cooked but in fairness, the menu had been limited due to an issue out of their control, due to the gas being shut off. Certainly didn't detract from a lovely stay here. The staff really do make you very welcome. Would highly recommend. "

"The accommodation is very good with all amenities, good rooms etc. and very well equipped. The bathroom needs updating, especially the shower although there was plenty of hot water. The location proved to be noisy with the nearby pub bottle bin being filled early morning and some delivery vehicles reversing into the garage area. The lounge carpet was stained and spotted in several places. Very convenient for walk to high street, canal and seafront."
