"This is our favourite hotel we stay im Folkestone. Staff are so friendly & welcoming. They have a lovely bright reception area, tv, and a bar, lifts assessible to your room. Rooms are clean & tidy. Tbe hotel have been undergoing some modernisation, but this will take time. It was originallly five townhouses, so bare with the manager, this will take some time. You are a stones throw from the Leas Cliff Hall and the beautiful walk along the Leas as well. 2 minutes on foot & you are in the town centre. There is quite a bit of work going on in and around tghe town. We can't wait to see the finish, very exciting for Folkestone. There are many bus routes if you want to head out of town, there's a train station not far from the hotel as well. Plenty of bars and an array of shops. There is a market some days as well. Heading further down the town you will come across the Old High Street, a cobble road with art shops galore and many other quirky shops. At the bottom you will come to Folkestone Hatbour, look it up, it's welm wortba visit."

"A very comfortable, well equipped house, opening on to the beach. Close to the harbour and Old Town, easy walk to Sandgate, half hour drives to eg Hythe and Deal. Good restaurants in the harbour, tho need booking. The weather was good so we were able to sit on the balcony. A relaxing stay."

"The accommodation is located directly on the beach. Everything is new and modern. Parking was free in the underground car park. From there, you can walk straight into the beautiful park with playgrounds. As we have a young son, this was great. The harbour is exciting as there are lots of food trucks. From Folkstone, you can also quickly get to Ashfort and the outlet. The service is excellent. We were given tips and every question was answered quickly. We were very impressed by the friendly manner, no matter where we were. We travel a lot in Europe, but we really liked England and will definitely come back more often"

"Fantastic location right on the harbour, lots to see and do within walking distance. Located in a building separate to the main restaurant/bar, so no issue with any noise. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Note no parking and your best option is the Harbour arm carpark, which is £20 for 24hours. "

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "

"Great house full of quirky and unusual objects.... something new to see everyday. Plenty of room for 2 people Comfortable beds Location was very good The steps kept us fit!!! Would recommend parking in Bouverie Place....24hr NCP car park....stays can be extended remotely through the app Loved the welcome pack.... delicious granola! The light was a bit dim in the bathroom....maybe a light over the mirror would be good Overall,we really enjoyed our stay"
