"We stayed in the pines cottage with our dog. I have to say the stay was fabulous, the house has everything you need and more. Very complete, all very well thought out throughout to the minor details and all very clean. The view and gardens are spectacular; love the benches in the gardens to relax, play, have a drink or picnic with the glorious view. The area is quiet and pure. We have done day visits to many places around the highlands but equally have done quite a few local walks, stunning. The highlight from my point of view was being able to see the dolphins at Chanonry Point just down the road and the day trip to Skye amongst many other ones. Poppy our dog had the best time, being able to roam around and her many swims in the sea. Tim the owner is lovely and very knowledgeable and we admire his passion for wildlife /outdoors (he even wrote a book) . We also got to chat to his dad and spend a bit of an evening chatting in the gardens and got to hear quite a few of his experiences and travels, fascinating. He let us look through his binoculars which were good ones and now I am going to get a pair for us. Thank you Tim, we had a lovely time and we will certainly be back in the future."
